Mission Statement:

The Centre Standards Board will:

• benchmark the safety standards of the Irish Adventure Sports Sector.
• monitor the operational safety of individual Adventure Sports providers.
• recognise where appropriate safety standards are in place.

These elements of benchmarking, monitoring and recognition will be achieved through:

• partnership of the sports National Governing Bodies and providers of adventure activities
• inspections -announced and unannounced- of provider facilities.
• awarding and advertising Centre Standards Board approval for providers with appropriate operational standards
