Who is listed in this directory?
76 adventure centres and outdoor providers across 23 counties. 62 of them currently hold accreditation from Canoeing Ireland, an Education and Training Board, or Irish Sailing, and each of those links to the body that awarded it so you can check it rather than take our word for it. The remainder are established centres we list without an accreditation badge, because we have no current scheme to point at for them.
Does a listing mean the centre is accredited?
Only if it carries an accreditation badge. A badge names the body and links to that body's own register. A listing without one is not a judgement about the centre: it means we have no published scheme to cite, and we would rather show that plainly than let the absence pass as approval.
How do you decide who gets listed?
We don't assess anyone. A provider appears here because a national governing body lists them, or because they are an established centre operating in Ireland. That means the directory is only as current as the schemes behind it, which is why each accreditation names its source and links out.
