About the trail

This loop follows forestry road as it ascends to the top of Kilbrannish Hill and on to Croaghan with its standing stone. The route offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, with particularly fine views from the summit of Croaghaun over the plains of Carlow with Myshall and Tullow spread out below.
