About the trail
This loop follows minor roadways, laneways and mountain paths to the top of Rosskerrig Mountain, following Ahakista Stream for part of the way. The ascent contains some fairly steep climbs. Wonderful mountain, coastal and sea views abound, particularly on the descent.
