About the trail

This coastal loop follows island roadways, laneways and tracks and includes several sites of historical and archaeological importance, such as the ruined British fortifications at Lonehort. Views are of Martello Towers, Ardaragh Wedge Tomb and a Viking shipyard as well as the coast and Lonehort Harbour.
