About the trail
This trail winds its way on path through mainly coniferous forest leading to the viewing point of Dooney Rock. There are spectacular views over Lough Gill, Cottage and Church Islands and the area is rich in flora and fauna. The latter part of the trail includes a steep climb which it is possible to avoid.
